The books that made their way into the canon that is accepted as the Holy Bible were written by scribes hundreds of years after the fact. Words and entire sections have been mis-translated, added, subtracted, paraphrased, misconstrued, and revised until their original meaning and context has been lost. It is only when you look at the ancient Hebrew and the fragments of newly discovered ancient scrolls that you realize that the incredible story that unfolds in the Bible, and in books that were not included in the Bible, is much more fabulous than what we have taken at face value all these years.
